Happy Halloween-ing, Boise!

We’ll be in the 40s and 50s when the kiddos are out trick or treating, so you’ll see a lot of cute costumes covered up with coats and jackets tonight!

Gas prices are a bit lower so for those shuttling kids around, you’ll save a little cash at the pump this year. Don’t forget that Harrison Boulevard will be closed starting at 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. Boise Police say they are expecting some 10,000 trick-or-treaters in the area this year.

Ada County agencies are out with a few Halloween reminders for tonight so everything goes smoothly. They include using headlights at all times, entering and exiting driveways very carefully, and keeping your eyes peeled for kiddos on foot, bicycles, or scooters! They included a map of the Harrison Boulevard closure as well, as a reminder to use a DD if needed. Police will be out on patrol looking for DUI drivers.

If you enjoy driving around to check out decorations, Boise Christmas Lights is back with an interactive map that includes attractions and amazing decorations around the Treasure Valley.

Near the Boise Bench Haunted Backyard Zombie Toyland? It will be open from 6-9 p.m. at 2029 S. Columbus Street. It’s free to get in!

However you choose to spend Halloween this year, be safe and take us along for the ride! We’ll keep the music coming like we always do. Happy Halloween, Boise!
